Dear Fellow Teacher,
If you could give
your child the tools and
ability to master
educational material without having to constantly
review
it…
If you could give
your child increased
self-confidence…
Then you'll want to keep reading.

This
is about a method that has stood
the test of time. |
| 2. |
This
is different from other things out there. |
| 3. |
This
isn’t about how to learn better,
it’s about retaining what your student learns. |
To Your
Student's Success,
How a
Homeschool Mother of
Seven Got the Inspiration For The Child Fluency Method
For
some time I've been on a quest to find the best and quickest way to
ensure that my children remember what they've learned.
I knew that I couldn't spend lots of individual time with
each
of
them (there are only 24 hours in a day!).
I
needed to find the secret to retention quickly, because our family just
keeps growing.
To
keep my sanity, I needed to find a
fail-proof, mastery learning method right away!
Knowing What
I Needed to Do, What Was My Next Step?
For
over ten years I have been
researching the best ways for educating children.
I have been extremely motivated for six of those years
because I
was doing it for my children and their
homeschooling success.
While extensively reading and learning about educational
methods, I found some great
information that I applied in teaching my children, but there
was still something
missing.
How
could I ensure that my children wouldn’t forget everything
(or
mostly everything) I
had taught them?
If
my children did
forget, I would just be wasting my time and my children’s
time. I wanted the
assurance that my children were
retaining what they were taught.

Not
to
mention, I was thrilled with the idea of spending less time on
academics (if
some of the review could be eliminated), while letting my children have
more
time to
learn practical skills and pursue their interests.
One
day while reading, I came across a topic that I had never heard
of
before. I was
intrigued and decided to
find out everything I could about it.
I got my hands on a book that contained
this topic, and I scoured the internet for
all the
articles I could find on it.
I Found A
Hardly Known, Well-Researched, Proven Method For Ensuring Retention
I
was amazed to find out
that there was virtually no information on this unique method in either
homeschooling circles or in public education.
How could such an easy to implement, highly successful educational
method go below the radar of practically everyone?
I
set out to compile everything I could
on this method, and started using it with
my own children. I saw
the great value
of it, and the tremendous benefits that other teachers would derive
from it. I
decided I couldn't keep the valuable information secret any longer and
created a
downloadable book about The Child Fluency Method.
Who Am I?
I am a homeschooling mother of seven
children with a
Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education (majors in Science
& Math with a minor
in Language Arts) from the University of Michigan
(1998).
I taught in
various settings while going
through school. After graduating, I taught for one year at a
private
school
in Ann Arbor before starting my own family.
I have read and
researched extensively the topics of
education and homeschooling for over 10 years now.
Why I Want
You To Have This Knowledge
Too
many
students are
falling through the cracks. Too many students are not working
up
to their potential. I want to start changing this one student
at
a time.
I
want you and your students to have extra time to pursue other
interests, instead of reviewing the same thing year after year.
I want to save you the money and effort it takes to keep changing
curriculums in the hope of finding the golden nugget. With
the
Child Fluency Method you can use any curriculum and achieve the same
great results.
I
want to reduce your frustration and your student's frustration, and
outline an easy process that can be learned very quickly.
Not
only is The Child Fluency Method easy to learn and implement, but
it's based on a system that has a 40 year record of proven success!

"Thanks,
Isa, for all the research and preparation you've
put into this project!"
Isa,
I find the Child Fluency Method to be a very thorough and
helpful evaluation tool. Using kids' natural
competitiveness---against the clock, not each other---is
particularly useful. My kids are already enjoying showing off
their knowledge of States & Capitols. Thanks, Isa,
for all the research and preparation you've put into this project!

"He
evens gets excited about trying to "beat his time" .
Hello Isa,
I have just starting using the "The Child Fluency " book with
my 12 year old son. We have been doing math drills,
timing them and finding that he is improving with his
times. We set a goal of 2 mins. for 100
multiplication facts and I definitely see an improvement.
He evens gets excited about trying to "beat his
time" . Frankie is not a very good reader so I am
really looking forward to the "Reading Fluency
Packet".
With
persistence and patience, I believe that if I follow your
guidelines, he will be a good reader and do well in
math.

"I
definitely could see an improvement and an increase in confidence in
each child."
Dear Isa,
I have read the e-book on Child Fluency and I am excited to use it with
my own children. I am homeschooling three boys and one has a
learning disorder. So far I have started using the Child
Fluency
Method in math. I definitely could see an improvement and an
increase in confidence in each child. I am looking forward to
the
reading packet because I know it will help all three of my
children. Reading is an area that needs improvement,
especially
with the phonograms.
Thank you so much for offering help that is readily available for those
of us who need tools to help our children more effectively.
Blessings,

"I'm
eager for more ideas and proven methods that facilitate fluency."
Dear Isa:
I purchased your ebook because much of what you've written in the
samples and emails I've read makes sense. We currently use Calculadders
to increase our "fluency" in math. I thank you for putting a name to
what I have found to be effective in our children's retention of what
they are studying. I'm eager for more ideas and proven methods that
facilitate fluency. Thank you for putting what you've learned in print.

"But
as I began to understand the whole method and tried the
sample pages from the ebook, my son was motivated to do
well. He enjoyed charting his progress."
Dear Isa,
Thank you so much for putting together the child
fluency ebook. I am so excited. My eight
year old
son has been struggling in the basic subjects of math
and reading. I have tried different curriculum
trying
to find the one that works. Struggling has caused my
son to avoid all school work. My first thought of
the
method was that it was just a lot of drill. The last
thing my son was going to want to do was to do more of
what he hated. But as I began to understand the
whole
method and tried the sample pages from the ebook, my
son was motivated to do well. He enjoyed charting
his
progress. It makes sense to me that becoming fluent
in the beginning steps builds self confidence and
makes it easier to do the next step. I am eagerly
awaiting the fluency packets you are putting together.
Thank you for your great work. May God bless your
en-
devours,
Louise B.

How Can You Ensure That Your Child Will
Learn To Read Fluently?
Do you find
yourself with any of the following scenarios after you've
taught your child the basics of reading?
- Your
child is struggling to read despite your best efforts.
- Your
child can read, but reads slowly and labors over the sounds.
- Your
child reads quickly, but makes lots of mistakes.
- Your
child
seems to be doing well, but you still have doubts, and wonder what kind
of a standard you could use to check on your child's reading ability.
This
isn’t about how to learn to read,
it’s about retaining what your student learns so review isn't
necessary.
What
Is The Reading Fluency
Packet?
The Reading
Fluency Packet is based on the highly successful method I
discovered of which I modified for easier use. The Reading
Fluency Packet uses the principals of Child Fluency with
the best
methods of reading instruction to ensure that all students who use it
will attain reading fluency.
Let me be clear--it is not a "how to teach your child to read" course.
It takes your child at the level they're at after they've
learned
how to read, and takes them to the level of an expert reader.
What
Does The Reading Fluency
Packet Contain?
In putting the Reading
Fluency Packet together, I consulted with 10
reading instruction books to give you the most
comprehensive fluency
sheets possible. After your child goes through the Reading Fluency Packet,
he'll be reading fluently!
If
your child already knows how
to read, you can use the packet to
check for fluency in all the reading areas, or use the section on
phonograms for spelling.
I've included tips
on the reading process and instructions
before each
section of fluency
sheets when necessary, for better understanding.
In
addition, you'll get almost
50 different Reading Fluency Pages that you can quickly
access to
ensure that your child becomes a fluent reader.
